I find color inspiration everywhere, and capture it with photos which I draw upon often in my work. The colors of my favorite places appear frequently in my designs.

Maine

For a while I was lucky enough to live in Maine, a place of immense natural beauty. In addition to the blues and greens of its waters and forests, its winter landscapes display every conceivable shade of white and gray, and its rocky coastline offers an infinite variety of muted neutrals.

New Mexico

I’ve had family in New Mexico for almost 40 years, and on visits I’m always awed by the range of spice tones in its landscapes, and by the luminous blues of its skies.
