Wisteria Yoke Wall Sculpture

This piece contrasts wildness with domestication. Swags of lilac, orchid and spring green reference a freely blooming wisteria vine. But suspended from a tree branch, their form evokes an ox yoke, symbol of constraint.

Accented with strands of recycled glass, crystal, optical glass and acrylic beads. (High quality optical glass is bright, clear and durable, mimicking crystal but without the lead content.)
